Dr. Epstein and his team are truly a next-level surgical practice. Their reputation already preceded themselves as I had prior knowledge of their stellar patient care from countless patients my office has referred over there and their testimonials. Yesterday, I took my husband in to have his wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Epstein and had first-hand experience with the team. Their communication, transparency, and follow-through with his care was incredible. The whole team was knowledgeable and compassionate, and I truly appreciated Dr. Epstein taking the time to update me on the procedure and the care he gave my husband to ensure he had the best possible healing outcome. They made the whole process efficient, and made sure we had plenty of time for post-anesthesia recovery. Everyone was so kind, one member of the admin team (apologies, I did not catch her name!) even offered to get me a coffee while I waited during my husband’s procedure! Even that little detail made me feel incredibly taken care of even as a non-patient. It might seem small, but even those little acts of kindness are truly what this world needs right now, and I was so touched by this.
I have personally SEEN the skill demonstrated by Dr. Epstein and his talented team from countless patients I have seen post-surgery in my own chair, and I will happily continue to refer patients their way as I can trust they’ll be in the best place possible for their care. Went in for a tooth extraction on a cracked tooth, and a consult on an implant.
Every person i interacted with was friendly, helpful, and professional. I have quite a bit of dental anxiety, and I felt comfortable and as at ease as I could be with the general atmosphere of the office.
The consult was fast and easy. All my questions were answered. When they brought the estimate I was concerned I wouldn't have the money on hand for what my insurance didn't cover. They worked very quickly to set me up with a payment plan through a 3rd party, and made it as easy as possible for me. And ultimately I was able to get the implant in my budget.
The actual procedure went just fine (I was asleep, so not much comment here). But on waking it was more of the same. Good discharge information, and great handling of a groggy patient.
Its rare that I get to give such a glowing review, and in this case it is well deserved. Easy, fast, professional, and kind. Its a hard combination to beat.
I recently received my wisdom tooth removal from this clinic. The beginning went smooth—I was welcomed by the surgical team and they made me feel more comfortable. Superb job from their end.
However, when it came to the actual surgery, I wish the person conducting the surgery (Dr. Epstein) took a little more effort to walk me through what they were doing today, have a conversation with me, and make me feel more welcomed. I understand they go through multiple wisdom teeth removals everyday, but a little interaction with the patient could never hurt!
In terms of the post-op, I personally feel like I was rushed out a bit. Not sure if it was the anesthesia, but I do remember not being given a wheelchair, nor being escorted to the parking lot by a staff member (which I believe is a typical routine conducted after a surgical procedure).
So far, surgery recovery is going as expected with no complications as of writing this. This clinic definitely gets the job done, but patient care and attention should definitely improve.
These lovely people were so helpful and kind. I had 2 teeth pulled today, and the anesthesiologist managed to find one of my invisible veins! I was super impressed with that. I saw Dr Epstein for the extraction, a molar and a wisdom tooth, and the staff were all so lovely getting me prepared and relaxed and doing what they could to alleviate my anxiety. They provided a lot of information, and were so kind. Would absolutely recommend for nervous patients like me!!

Green Lake Oral + Facial Surgery is such an amazing office. Everyone is so kind and attentive. My dentist referred me to Dr. Tommy Kim to complete the extraction of my infected root canal treated tooth after a few issues arose and she wasn’t able complete it. Dr. Kim’s office was about to close when my dentist called and asked if they could take me in to complete it. Dr. Kim and his team agreed to stay after hours to take me in and complete my tooth extraction and bone graft. Dr. Kim was very kind, cautious, and gentle during the procedure which went very smoothly. He and his team educated me on post op care afterwards. He and his team are wonderful! I would highly recommend their office.
Incredible dental care and team of dental professionals! I had an inflamed wisdom tooth that needed help for and the office was able to schedule me in on the same day for both consultation and the surgery. The assistant Maya was so friendly, warm, caring, and personable, which made the visit a lot more relaxing and easy. She’s very knowledgeable too, answering patiently all the questions I had. The doctor was also very skilled and did the surgery within just minutes with no discomfort or pain at all. Before I left, Maya made sure I had all the info I need for aftercare and assured they would be available if any other assistance is needed afterwards. Unlike past dental visits in most other offices, the atmosphere here felt warm, calm, and relaxing. And I felt really well take care of. (Not to mention the entire visit from consultation to end of surgery took only about one hour!)
In our conversations, I also found out by 1pm on a Thursday I was the 12th surgery patients of the day! Yes despite that I felt like I was being received and cared for so fully and presently. This team is so dedicated putting patients needs first. I can’t thank them enough.
So appreciative for their service! They definitely deserve recognition. And although I hope I won’t have a need to come back again, I’d recommend this office for anyone who needs urgent dental care that’s warm, professional, and trustworthy.
I went in for my wisdom tooth removal and honestly felt super comfortable from the moment I got there. The staff and doctor Kim were really cool and made me feel at ease. I kid you not, I was laughing a bit and then BOOM knocked out before I could even say anything wish I had the chance to talk to them more, but maybe I did while I was out ahhh I just hope it wasn’t something stupid.
Didn’t feel a single thing while they were working on my mouth, and when I woke up, I was seeing colors on my phone like they were in 4K vivid mode 10/10 experience smooth, quick, and pain-free. Highly recommend!
I have a lot of dental fear and put off my implant for months, but I am glad I did it here with the team at Green Lake. Maya the surgical assistant was so nice both times I was there and made me feel reassured with all my silly questions and worries, and did a great job prepping me and putting me to sleep. Dr. Kim is kind and efficient, and both my procedures have been smooth with easy recoveries. I also appreciate his thoughtfulness about my other health condition and how careful he is to work on me with that in mind.
i had an overall great experience with green lake oral surgery, but i especially want to highlight the surgical assistant, maya. she helped me through so much anxiety surrounding my procedure — she had this perfect balance of giving me just enough information to feel informed, but not so much that it overwhelmed me or sparked more worry. her calm, kind energy really set the tone, and the follow-up phone calls meant a lot. it’s so clear she genuinely loves what she does and cares deeply for her patients.

I was referred to Dr Epstein by my favorite Dentist, Dr Ryan Tennant of 2th Studio. My experience with Dr Epstein and his staff was exemplary! I had my upper wisdom teeth removed and it was LITERALLY painless. Post op I didn't take or need any pain killer at all. I pinch myself and ask if I was really there! I highly recommend Dr Epstein for your extraction needs. I cant imagine how it could be any better.
I really appreciate the professionalism that all of the staff show. I was told by my regular dentist that I need to have a lower molar extracted, and he referred me to the Greenlake Oral Surgery office. Dr. Kim is so nice-he said since it is not causing pain or bleeding, why not just wait until it causes a problem....I really appreciated the honesty, and I feel very respected there.

Dr. Matthew Epstein and his team were exceptional. The office and meeting rooms have an inviting and warm atmosphere while the technicians make you feel comfortable as they prepare you for what's ahead.
I meet separately with a business rep to communicate what my insurance will and will not cover so there were no surprises down the road. From start to finish, I had NO surprises in this department so I will leave it there.
I had an extraction performed which went perfectly. I chose to be awake for the experience and while having a tooth extracted can be a daunting experience, Dr. Epstein managed to complete the extraction without me suffering any pain during the entire experience.
The aftercare was exceptional with the team providing great information on what to do, and more importantly what NOT to do. I also received calls from the office later on in the day and 7 days after to ensure I was feeling okay and there was nothing negative about he experience coming up.
I chose to have an implant added once the extraction had completely healed. For me that was a six month period. Dr. Epstein uses the most up-to-date technology to ensure an implant procedure is as accurate as possible. As a techy guy myself, I found this fascinating.
Hopefully all my "forced" extractions and oral surgery are finished for me in this lifetime, but if not, I'll be sure to go back to Dr. Epstein and his team to handle the process.
I had seen Dr. Epstein in the past and had a very positive experience. Recently, I broke a tooth and needed to have it removed. On the day of the procedure, Frankie (surgical assistant) and Dr. Epstein answered my questions and made me feel at ease about the process. The actual procedure did not take that long, but Dr. Epstein was quick to keep me apprised on his progress and it was completed very quickly. I appreciate the care that Dr. Epstein and his staff gave me. A very positive experience.
Having a tooth extracted is never a pleasant experience, but Dr. Epstein's and his office made the entire process stress free and painless (literally and figuratively) from consultation to follow up. They really put my mind at ease, especially as I had never had anesthesia before. Everyone was so professional, transparent, friendly, technologically current, caring, and on top of things, I highly recommend this practice! Side bonus - beautiful office too with excellent views of Green lake across the street.
I had such a great experience here. Dr. Epstein was out, but Dr. Han was amazing. I put off getting my wisdom teeth out for 6 years or so, and it couldn’t have gone better! I only had two, which were on the top, and from being seated in the dentists chair to leaving took all of 15 minutes. The recovery was well laid out by them and was really only sensitive in the area for a few days. Plus, the staff is all so nice and the place is spotless clean! 10/10 would recommend!
I had my wisdom teeth pulled about a month ago (all 4!) and I had a great experience! I was super nervous (I hate needles and had never had surgery before) but the staff there really made me feel comfortable and eased my anxiety. From the front desk people to the dentist and support staff to the consultation liaison to the finance person, everyone took care of me and gave me all the info I needed. I had all my prescriptions available before the surgery so I could fill them beforehand and be prepared. I had a consultation and then was scheduled very quickly. They did all the legwork with my insurance! My only thing was that I was told I wouldn’t need to take off work (but I took a couple days off anyways) and for me personally, I definitely needed it! I highly recommend this place and also giving yourself a good window for recovery.
