Board Eligible Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon - SEATTLE, WA

Dr. Tommy Kim received his undergraduate degree from UC San Diego in Biomedical Engineering before successfully completing dental school at Western University in California and earning his DMD degree. He then went on to specialize in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, a major teaching institution in the greater New York area. While the residency program exposed him to the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Kim developed a particular interest in sedation, corrective jaw surgery, removal of wisdom teeth, and implant surgery. 

 Dr. Kim strives to create a comfortable and positive surgical experience for all of his patients. He understands a trip to the oral surgeon can be stressful and makes a concerted effort to have all of his patients feel at ease. Patients often comment on how comfortable they feel throughout their procedures, which is a testament to Dr. Kim’s technical skill and bedside manner. 

Having lived in California and New York City, Dr. Kim now calls Seattle, Washington home. He spends his free time exploring all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer with his wife and Bernese Mountain Dog, Momo. He enjoys trying new restaurants, working out, hiking, and traveling. Dr. Kim is also passionate about giving back to the local community, and has participated in global outreach programs.
