Dr. Tommy Kim earned his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at Western University of Health Sciences in California. He then went on to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, a major teaching institution in the greater New York area.
During his training, Dr. Kim gained extensive experience across the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He developed a special interest in dental implant placement, wisdom teeth removal, sedation techniques, and corrective jaw surgery—all areas where precision and patient comfort are equally important.

Beyond his practice, Dr. Kim remains dedicated to giving back. He has participated in local and international outreach programs that provide surgical care to underserved communities, extending his expertise to those who need it most.

Life in the Pacific Northwest
After years in California and New York, Dr. Kim now calls Seattle home. He and his wife enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest with their Bernese Mountain Dog, Momo. Outside of the office, Dr. Kim enjoys staying active, discovering new restaurants, hiking, and traveling.
