- You may not have anything to eat or drink (including water) for EIGHT (8) hours prior to the appointment.
- A responsible adult must accompany you to the office, remain in the office DURING* the procedure, and drive you home.
- *No cabs, Uber or Lyft. Failure to arrive with an adult escort will result in rescheduling of your surgery
- You should not drive a vehicle or operate any machinery for 24 hours following the anesthesia experience.
- Please wear loose fitting clothing with SHORT SLEEVES and low-heeled shoes.
- Contact lenses, jewelry, dentures and piercings (tongue ring, lip ring) must be removed PRIOR to the time of surgery.
- Do not wear lipstick, makeup, or nail polish on the day of surgery.
- If you have an illness such as a cold, sore throat, stomach or bowel upset, please notify the office prior to surgery date.
- If you take routine oral medications, please confirm if you should hold any medications. In most cases you will take your medications as you normally do.
- Please PARK IN THE PARKING GARAGE underneath our building on the day of surgery. Note: You do not have to pay for parking and any spot is fine to park in.
- On the day of surgery please leave all phones with escorts. NO RECORDING DEVICES (smartphones) are permitted in the surgical suite at any time, while in our office.
